Objectives
By the end of this course learners will be able to:
Understand the causes and impacts of mental health conditions and how to spot signs in someone who may be suffering from poor mental health
Know how to support colleagues, family members who are suffering and recognise declining personal mental health
Understand the meaning of mental capacity, Duty of Care, issues of consent and safeguarding procedures to follow should a client’s mental capacity be identified as limited
Refer to legislation for prevention of radicalisation and terrorism and learn to spot the warning signs and gain support for someone suspected of being groomed by a radicalising influence
